Overview
The 43rd Brückenfest Heidelberg took place at the end of June 2025 at the Brückenbuckel directly on the Alte Brücke. Two days of live music from several bands, Old Town club stands, and a family program against the backdrop of the bridge gate, Neckar river, and castle. Organizer: Verein Alt-Heidelberg e.V. — Proceeds for social projects in the Old Town. Free admission.
Brückenfest 2025 — Review
In 2025, the traditional Brückenfest was celebrated again on the last weekend of June. For two days, the Brückenbuckel on the Alte Brücke transformed into a family-friendly festival area with stages, club stands, and catering areas.
As every year, the Verein Alt-Heidelberg e.V. organized the festival, supported by the Old Town clubs and restaurateurs. The proceeds went to social projects in the Old Town — a proven tradition since the festival's founding in 1979 to finance the Brückenaffe sculpture.
