Edition 2025 — Brückenfest Frankfurt (Oder)
The Brückenfest 2025 gathered several thousand people on May 1st at Brückenplatz in Frankfurt (Oder). Political speeches, live music, and a broad alliance of trade unions and associations marked the day in the spirit of democracy and social justice.
The Brückenfest 2025 continued the annual tradition of the May Day celebration at Brückenplatz. Over 30 organisations from the Frankfurt (Oder) region were present with booths, jointly emphasising their commitment to democracy, social justice, and anti-racism.
As in previous years, the program started at 10 AM with a ceremonial opening by the Frankfurt Fanfare Guard, followed by speeches and an all-day stage program. The highlight was the evening concert on the main stage. The festival is considered an important civil society event in the twin city of Frankfurt-Słubice.
