Overview
The 2025 Brucker Faschingszug once again drew tens of thousands of revellers to Erlangen's Bruck district on Carnival Sunday. The colourful 'Gaudiwurm' with decorated floats, carnival guards, and music bands paraded from Brucker Marktplatz through the neighbourhood, confirming its reputation as the city's largest carnival parade.
In 2025, the Brucker Faschingszug was again the highlight of the Erlangen carnival season. Tens of thousands of spectators lined the streets of the Bruck district as the 'Gaudiwurm' of decorated floats, walking groups, carnival guards, and music bands moved from Brucker Marktplatz through the neighbourhood. Organised by the 'Die Brucker Gaßhenker' 1970 e.V. carnival society, the parade offered exuberant spirits, music, and the usual festive revelry in the tradition of Franconian carnival.
