Overview

In 2025, the Brucker Christkindlmarkt again took place on all four Advent weekends on the Viehmarktplatz. The official opening was by Lord Mayor Christian Götz and Market Officer Markus Droth; the program included a visit from St. Nicholas, puppet theater, and performances by the Brucker Perchten.

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: around 30 festively decorated stalls on the southern Viehmarktplatz, open on all four Advent weekends from Friday to Sunday, 2–9 PM. The official opening took place on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 6:30 PM by Lord Mayor Christian Götz and Market Officer Markus Droth. On December 6, at 4 PM, St. Nicholas arrived with angels and Krampus; on November 29 and December 21, the Brucker Perchten & the Rauhnachtsgsindl presented their traditional Alpine performances at 7 PM each. In addition, there was a varied stage program and puppet theater for children on Sundays.
