Overview

The 47th edition of the Bretzinger Bockbierfest took place from 10 to 13 October 2025 on the sports grounds in Bretzingen (district of Hardheim). The classic four-day format from Friday to Monday featured the Bockbier tapping on the opening evening, a live party band on Saturday, the Frühschoppen with brass music from the Bretzingen Music Association on Sunday, and a relaxed festival closing on the "Heimattag" Monday. As usual, high participation from the Bauland region.

The 47th edition in 2025 followed the program established over decades: opening on Friday evening with Bockbier tapping, a big party band on Saturday evening, Sunday Frühschoppen with the Bretzingen Music Association and guest bands from the Neckar-Odenwald district, and a festival closing on "Heimattag" Monday. The three organizing clubs — the Friends of the Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Music Association, and the Sports Club Bretzingen — jointly hosted the festival tent and ensured the typical Volksfest atmosphere. The festival tent was well-filled on all four days, and the Sunday lunch with pork roast and chicken was a highlight. The 2025 edition laid the foundation for the 2026 anniversary year with the 48th edition.
