Overview

The Eggesin Brennholztag 2025 took place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vierseitenhof in Stettiner Straße 1a. As in previous years, the regional raw material wood was the focus – and the traditional competition between the Bundeswehr, city council, and city administration provided the loudest highlight of the day.

The 2025 edition of the Eggesin Brennholztag was celebrated on the first Advent weekend at the Vierseitenhof in Stettiner Straße 1a. From 2 PM to 7 PM, the market offered colorful activities, wood crafts, creative offerings, a children's cinema, as well as bratwurst and mulled wine.

The highlight was the annual competition between the teams of the Bundeswehr's partner company, the city council, and the Eggesin administration – a humorous show competition that has shaped the profile of the Brennholztag for years. The Brennholztag is a distinct Eggesin tradition and one of the most original Advent markets in southeastern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
