Edition 2025 — Kite Festival
The Bremerhaven Kite Festival took place on May 24th and 25th, 2025, on the Weser Dyke. For two days and also at night, impressive flying objects took to the air: More than 40 kite flyers from all over Germany showcased giant air sculptures, artistic stunt kites, and playful wind toys. The highlight was the night flying on Saturday evening from around 9 PM with illuminated and self-luminous kites. Admission was free, and children could get creative in the kite workshop.
At the 2025 edition on May 24th and 25th, more than 40 kite flyers from all over Germany turned the sky above the Weser Dyke into a sea of colours. Giant air sculptures, stunt kites, and wind toys dominated the scene, followed by the night flying on Saturday evening from around 9 PM with illuminated kites. Admission was free, and a kite workshop invited children to participate.
