Overview
The Osterwiese 2025 was also a complete success: around half a million visitors came to the traditional festival grounds on Bürgerweide between early and mid-April. The opening took place as usual with a beer tapping and a large fireworks display on the first evening.
The 2025 edition once again confirmed the Osterwiese as Northern Germany's most important spring Volksfest. Over 200 showmen provided a diverse program of thrilling rides, family carousels, classic stalls, and traditional Volksfest gastronomy. The grounds remained closed on Good Friday out of respect for the solemn holiday.
