Overview

The Breitengüßbach Kirchweih 2025 took place in early August in the parish garden. Four days of Franconian tradition with Kirchweihbier, specialties, a festival service, and the typical conviviality that makes the Franconian Kirwa famous far beyond the region. One of the five Kirchweihen of the Breitengüßbach municipality throughout the year.

The 2025 edition followed the established four-day format. The parish garden once again proved to be the ideal festival backdrop: old trees provided shade, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The festival service on Sunday and the subsequent morning pint brought together the parish community and guests from the entire region between Bamberg and Lichtenfels.

The catering by the Catholic clubs, the Kirchweihbier, and the Franconian specialties made the festival a meeting point for generations – a classic example of how the Franconian Kirwa tradition is kept alive.
