Overview

The 52nd edition of the Breisgau Wine Festival took place over four days in August 2025 in Emmendingen's Old Town. As every year, 16 vintners and cooperatives from Breisgau presented over 200 wines and sparkling wines; three stages — Schlossplatz, Landvogtei, and in front of the Stadtkirche — featured everything from town music, cover bands, and DJ sets. The highlight, as always, was the crowning of the new Breisgau Wine Princess, as well as the ecumenical service on Sunday.

52nd Edition 2025

In 2025, the Breisgau Wine Festival in Emmendingen once again brought together the Baden wine world for the annual festival weekend in August. For four days, the Schlossplatz area, the Landvogtei area, and the square in front of the Stadtkirche opened for the grand wine festival of Breisgau. 16 wineries and cooperatives presented their products — from Gutedel and Müller-Thurgau to Pinot Noir, as well as sparkling wine with and without alcohol.

As always, the crowning of the new Breisgau Wine Princess was the ceremonial highlight of the opening, and the ecumenical service on Sunday was the contemplative start to the festival Sunday. Live music on three stages, culinary catering by local restaurateurs, and the proven cashless payment at all stands made the 2025 edition one of the most attended wine festivals in Baden.
