Edition 2025 — Saalhundregatta
The 2025 Breeger Saalhundregatta was held in the summer at Breege Harbour. Yardstick rating, a small regional fleet, festival tent evening with award ceremony, and on the following day, harbour festival and Day of the Sea Rescue Services — integrated into the municipality's traditional summer programme.
In 2025, the Saalhundregatta continued its established date in Breege's event calendar. With summer weather and light to moderate winds on the Breeger Bodden, yachts and dinghies engaged in lively races. After the finish, the award ceremony and a festive evening followed in the harbour tent.
The regatta was embedded within the Breege Harbour Days and the Day of the Sea Rescue Services with DGzRS demonstrations — an established combination that makes the weekend attractive for sailors and families alike.
