Overview
The 2025 Brecht Days took place in February during the birthday week at the Literaturforum im Brecht-Haus. As in every edition since the late 1990s, the festival bundled a thematic focus from Brecht's work with lectures, readings, and performances in Berlin-Mitte.
The 2025 Brecht Days brought together Brecht scholars and a broad Berlin literary audience for a week around February 10th – Brecht's birthday. The format of established opening lectures, readings, and discussions was continued.
The success of this edition contributed to the planning of an even more ambitious program for 2026 with the focus 'Brecht's Green Revolution' and four partner venues.
