In the summer of 2025, »Der Brandner Kaspar und das ewig Leben« was already regularly featured on the repertoire of the Münchner Volkstheater, directed by Christian Stückl. The production has since been considered one of the theatre's most popular plays and forms the basis for the 2026 guest performance in Oberammergau.

The Münchner Volkstheater production, directed by Christian Stückl, played to sold-out houses in Munich in the summer of 2025. Press reviews praised the play's bawdy humor and the youthful energy of the Boandlkramer. Building on this successful season, the Passionstheater Oberammergau programmed the guest performance for 2026.
