Overview

The 34th season of the Brandenburg Summer Concerts in 2025 featured around 30 concerts in palaces, churches, and industrial monuments across Brandenburg. The program included classical music, chamber music, and jazz crossover formats. Highlights included concerts at Rheinsberg Palace, in the churches of the Uckermark, and the integrated chamber music festival Fliessen in the Spreewald. Bus transfers from Berlin Fehrbelliner Platz brought audiences from the capital to the region. The series concluded in early September with a final concert – and preparations for the 35th season in 2026.

The 2025 season marked the 34th year of the Brandenburg Summer Concerts – and confirmed the series' reputation as one of the most important classical music festivals in Berlin-Brandenburg. Over approximately three months, concerts were held in the region's palaces, churches, and industrial monuments – from Potsdam to the Uckermark, from the Spreewald to the Oderbruch.

Concerts at Rheinsberg Palace, Stiftskirche Heiligengrabe, and the Niederfinow Ship Lift – an industrial monument offering a unique concert setting due to its acoustics and sheer size – were particularly well-attended. The integrated chamber music festival Fliessen in the Spreewald attracted classical music enthusiasts from Berlin and across central Germany. The series concluded in early September with a final concert – and preparations for the 35th season in 2026.
