City Festival in the "Tuchmacherstadt"

Bramsche, in the Osnabrücker Land region, bears the nickname "Tuchmacherstadt" (Cloth Maker Town) and looks back on a rich industrial history. The Bramscher Stadtfest utilizes the most beautiful spots in the historic city center on May 22 and 23, 2026: Kirchplatz, Altstadt, and Münsterplatz become the two-day festival grounds.

Friday, May 22: 80s 90s Liveband

The kick-off on Friday evening belongs to the 80s 90s Liveband. The cover band brings hits from the eighties and nineties to the stage — pop, rock, new wave, and funk classics. A generation that grew up with these songs meets a younger audience discovering the classics anew.

Saturday, May 23: Market Kick-off and Concerts

Old Town Flea Market in the Morning

Saturday morning starts with the Altstadtflohmarkt (Old Town Flea Market). Private individuals and small traders set up their stalls in the historic old town. Vintage items, bric-a-brac, books, clothing, and curiosities change hands. The flea market attracts regular visitors from all over the region.

Evening Concerts

• VIER GEWINNT — from 10:00 PM, tribute band to Die Fantastischen Vier with hip-hop classics from the Stuttgart group

Family Program and Gastronomy

During the day, interactive stations, clubs, and a family area invite families with children. Food trucks and gastronomic stands provide culinary accompaniment. Bramsche's shops are open on Saturday.

Bramsche benefits from over 2,000 free parking spaces in the city center — an advantage that makes the Stadtfest attractive for visitors from further afield. The city is easily accessible via the A1 and A30 motorways.
