Overview

The 2025 edition of the Bornstedt Neighborhood Festival took place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 12 PM to 8 PM on the meadow at Erwin-Barth-Straße. Over 40 stalls from the neighborhood shaped the day — from the Bornstedt fire department to schools and kindergartens to local businesses. On stage, a diverse program with dance performances, school choirs, an interactive circus, and live music ran from 2 PM to 8 PM.

The 2025 Neighborhood Festival marked the prelude to the anniversary year and gathered several thousand visitors on the meadow in Bornstedt Field. Starting at 1 PM, the paths between the stalls filled up, and around 2 PM, dance groups opened the stage program. School choirs from nearby elementary schools followed, and a participatory circus offered children opportunities for acrobatics and juggling.

Local bands played until late afternoon, before a relaxed conclusion ended the festival around 8 PM. The Bornstedt Neighborhood Work drew a positive conclusion and used the day to gather ideas for the 2026 anniversary with residents.
