Overview
An Established Winter Tradition
The Borner Maskenball 2025 followed the established procedure over generations: mandatory costumes for active participants, individual and group performances on the dance floor, jury evaluation by an audience panel, and the final unmasking of the prize-winning costumes. As always, the organizer was the Born Tourist Office, and the venue was BornAqua.
The ball is part of the annual carnival season on the Darß, which reaches its second climax two weeks later with the Fastnachtstonnenabschlagen. For 2026, the Tourist Office is continuing the format on January 31st.
