Boogielicious — three musicians, one sound

The trio Boogielicious has established itself as a prominent name in the European Boogie and Blues scene over the past few years. Pianist Eeco Rijken Rapp from the Netherlands is a multi-award-winning Boogie-Woogie specialist, drummer David Herzel provides the groove foundation, and Dr. Bertram Becher delivers the saxophone parts. Together, the three have recorded seven albums and played at numerous festivals, including the renowned International Jazz Festival Burghausen.

Concert on the Grounds

The open-air grounds of the Syke District Museum provide a unique backdrop for the concert. In an idyllic setting amidst historic buildings, meadows, and trees, an intimate open-air atmosphere is created. The concert begins at 6 PM, a time that takes advantage of the late summer and leads the evening into twilight.

Garden Culture and Music

The festival is part of the District Museum's "Gartenkultur" (Garden Culture) series, combining music with the atmosphere of the open-air museum. This gives the event a distinct character, differentiating it from standard concerts in concert halls.
