Bonndorfer Schlossgarten Festival — Edition 2025

At the premiere of the Bonndorfer Schlossgarten Festival in 2025, FolkTreff Bonndorf successfully established a new open-air format in the Hochschwarzwald. The Schlossgarten was transformed into an intimate concert venue where the audience experienced the bands up close. The concept – two bands in one evening, a mix of regional and national music, under the open sky with a baroque castle backdrop – was well-received and encouraged the organizers to continue the festival in 2026. The premiere showed that there is space in the Hochschwarzwald for a small, ambitious open-air format that focuses on proximity, quality, and atmospheric density, away from the big mega-festivals.
