The 2025 edition took place in mid-September 2025 on the usual scale. Bochum Marketing GmbH organized a diverse three-day program featuring classical, pop, jazz, electro, hip-hop, choirs, and street art on the 7 city center stages. The wine festival and handicraft market complemented the program.

Subsequently, Bochum Marketing announced the Bochum Music Summer 2026 for September 11-13, 2026 — with the same concept and level.
