Edition 2025 — Boarstream
The 12th edition of Boarstream Open Air took place on July 18th and 19th, 2025, at the Buchenbach sports field in Mulfingen. Under bright summer skies, 666 metal fans filled the familial festival grounds in the Hohenlohe region and celebrated two days of extreme underground metal. As usual, the lineup offered a consistent selection of Black, Pagan, Folk, and Death Metal from across Europe — confirming the festival's reputation as an insider tip in the German scene.
12th Boarstream Open Air — Summer 2025
In the summer of 2025, the festival moved its date from the traditional Pentecost weekend to July 18–19 — and celebrated two sold-out festival days at the Buchenbach sports field. 666 tickets, camping included, uncompromisingly international: the Boarstream recipe has been working for over a decade.
As in previous years, the festival eschewed commercial mainstream acts and consistently focused on underground and mid-tier bands from Black, Pagan, and Death Metal. The familial atmosphere, affordable tickets, and dedicated volunteer team made the 12th edition another celebrated date in the calendar of the German extreme metal scene.
