Overview
Bluval 2025 marked a new chapter in the festival's history with its 31st edition: for the first time, the official festival period extended over more than two months, from early September to early November, with an intensive core period in September and October. The opening took place in the Stadthalle, followed by a series of sacred concerts in St. Jakob and the Carmelite Church.
Highlights in 2025 included the International Masterclasses for Brass, a gala concert with the Munich Radio Orchestra, and performances by renowned brass and big bands. Bluval Saturday once again transformed Straubing's old town into an open-air concert area with predominantly free performances.
