Edition 2025 — Bluesfest Rotkreuzplatz
The Bluesfest am Rotkreuzplatz did not take place in 2025 due to the ongoing organizational hiatus following the Corona pandemic. The festival was suspended for a total of three years before Bang Bang! Concerts, in cooperation with District Committee 9 and the Munich Cultural Department, announced its return for 2026.
Bluesfest 2025 – Suspended
The traditional Bluesfest am Rotkreuzplatz in Munich was also not held in 2025. The festival had already been interrupted multiple times since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, and subsequent organizational difficulties prevented a swift return. In total, the festival remained on hiatus for three years.
It was only for 2026 that Bang Bang! Concerts, together with District Committee 9 Neuhausen-Nymphenburg and the Cultural Department of the City of Munich, was able to secure a new edition – with four local blues bands, a classic district festival atmosphere, and free admission.
