A Proven Festival Formula
The Blue Wave Festival 2025 continued the tradition established in the late 1990s: free open-air concerts on Binz's Kurplatz, ticketed club concerts in the Kulturbahnhof, and distributed performances along the beach promenade. As usual, the genre spectrum ranged from classic blues to soul, funk, swing, and younger indie singer-songwriter acts with blues roots.
Organizer Binzer Bucht Tourismus reported a positive outcome for 2025 and planned the 2026 anniversary year with an expansion: the »Blue Wave Academy« as a workshop and session format.
