Overview
The Blankenburg Christmas Festival 2025 took place on the first Advent Saturday from 1 PM to 6 PM at the Alt-Blankenburg church community garden. As every year since 2009, organized by the Runder Tisch Blankenburg, featuring arts and crafts, gastronomy, a stage program, and a nativity scene from the district.
The 2025 edition also remained true to its non-commercial concept. Local residents, the church community's brass band, local choirs, and school clubs contributed to the stage program. Stall proceeds went to social projects of the Runder Tisch and the preparation of the 2026 edition. The format is one of the oldest and most enduring village Christmas markets in the Berlin urban area and is one of the few truly non-commercial Advent events in the capital.
