Overview

The 5th edition of the Blackdoor Outdoor Festival took place in 2025, as usual at the end of June on the König-Max-Höhe in Thyrnau. Three days of Heavy Psych, Stoner Rock, Doom Metal with a family atmosphere, around 700 visitors, camping from Thursday.

The 5th edition of the Blackdoor Outdoor Festival 2025 followed the proven concept: three days of heavy music programming on the König-Max-Höhe in Thyrnau near Passau, with camping from Thursday and a capacity of around 700 visitors. The lineup brought together established names from the Heavy Psych and Stoner scene from Europe and the USA.

As in previous years, the family atmosphere characterized the festival: short distances, personal contact between bands and audience, fair prices for food and drinks. The anti-discrimination policy was actively supported by organizers and visitors. The 6th edition in 2026 builds on this foundation, with a 21-band lineup centered around Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Elder, and Slomosa.
