Overview

The Hamburg Open 2025 concluded with a great triumph for the Italian Flavio Cobolli: the 23-year-old defeated Andrey Rublev in the final and secured his first ATP 500 title. For a week, around 70,000 spectators followed the traditional clay court tournament at Rothenbaum.

The 2025 edition was all about the young Italian generation: Flavio Cobolli, then ranked 30th in the world, played his way confidently through the draw and ultimately won the final against the returning Russian Andrey Rublev.

The tournament once again proved to be a must-see event in the transition to the French Open season. In 2025, a full Center Court with around 13,200 seats, broadcasts on Sky and Eurosport, and the traditional supporting program of gastronomy and family activities characterized the scene at Rothenbaum.
