Overview
The Biikebrennen Norddorf 2025 took place on February 21st at the beach access north of the village center. A torchlight procession from 6 PM and the subsequent Biike fire on the beach marked the farewell to winter on the North Sea island of Amrum, as every year.
In 2025, island residents and winter guests gathered again on Norddorf beach to celebrate the ancient North Frisian tradition. The torchlight procession wound its way through the village center as always, and the Biike fire burned visibly far beyond the dunes and out to sea. Norddorf on Amrum is one of the most symbolic locations for the Biike tradition in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
