Biikebrennen Braderup — Norddörfer

In 2025, the Biikebrennen of Sylt's North Villages once again attracted hundreds of islanders and day guests. The three torchlight processions from Braderup, Wenningstedt, and Kampen converged at the Lighthouse Path "Loch 16" for the joint lighting of the Biike – a scene that provides impressive press photos every year.

Afterwards, the restaurants of the three North Villages were filled for the traditional Grünkohl dinner – a culinary custom inextricably linked to the Biikebrennen. The UNESCO recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage has made the already well-attended festival even more visible in recent years.
