Bielstein Christmas Market 2025

The 2025 Bielstein Christmas Market opened on Saturday, December 20, at 2 PM and on Sunday, December 21, at 11 AM. Mayor Ulrich Stücker officially opened the 16th edition of the market on Saturday at 4 PM — the political ceremony to start the event.

The musical program included traditional Christmas music throughout the day: the Steirische Harmonika Orchester, the Posaunenchor Remperg, the band Red Clay, and the Bielsteiner Männerchor provided musical accompaniment. The Saturday evening dance from 8 PM was performed by the band Nachtexpress. The over 50 wooden, festively decorated stalls offered gifts and culinary specialties — tarte flambée, crêpes, potato pancakes, plus a café in the castle house with homemade cakes. The Bielstein Heritage Association (Heimatverein Bielstein e.V.) confirmed with this edition its position as the most important voluntary supporter of cultural life in Bielstein.
