Overview

In September 2025, the Besigheim Music and Wine Days once again attracted wine lovers from the greater Stuttgart area and the Bottwartal valley to the medieval half-timbered old town. The town band, Württemberg wines, and vaulted cellars defined the festival weekend.

In 2025, the Besigheim Music and Wine Days took place again during the usual September timeframe. The Besigheim Town Band and local vintners organized a three-day festival that turned the Stadthalle Alte Kelter into the main musical stage and the old town alleys into a wine village. Trollinger, Lemberger, and Riesling from the surrounding steep slopes of the Neckar attracted both regular guests and first-time visitors.

Open vaulted cellars, the covered wine village at Kelterplatz, and Swabian festival cuisine characterized the weekend. Visitors enjoyed three days in one of Baden-Württemberg's most beautiful old towns — a blend of half-timbered romance, Württemberg wine, and town music that works with such intensity only in Besigheim.
