Overview

On the second Advent weekend in 2025, the Besigheim Christmas Market traditionally took place in the historic old town — on Kirchstraße, Marktplatz, Kelterplatz, and Aipertumstraße. Exhibitors focusing on arts and crafts presented pottery, wood carvings, felt and textile art, as well as jewelry. In parallel, the Swabian "Christbaumloben" with Christmas tree sales and mulled wine took place. Advent concerts in the town church and performances by local choirs accompanied the weekend.

Advent Weekend 2025

In December 2025, the Besigheim Christmas Market also took place on the traditional second Advent weekend. The historic old town — one of Baden-Württemberg's most beautiful half-timbered towns — offered the perfect setting for an Advent market with Kirchstraße, Marktplatz, Kelterplatz, and Aipertumstraße.

As always, arts and crafts dominated: potters, carvers, felt artists, jewelry and textile artists from the region exhibited their work. Mulled wine, punch, and Swabian specialties from local clubs and restaurateurs provided culinary delights. In parallel, the "Christbaumloben" with Christmas tree sales took place — a Swabian Advent tradition that is particularly cherished in Besigheim.
