Overview

Already in 2025, the Berlin Industrial Culture Festival ran in its classic format over three weeks in late summer and early autumn. The Berliner Zentrum Industriekultur opened over 30 sites in several Berlin districts — from the Industriesalon Schöneweide to Borsig in Tegel — and presented them with city tours, concerts, photo walks, and special events. The edition confirmed the festival's firm place in Berlin's autumn calendar.

The 2025 edition of the Berlin Industrial Culture Festival highlighted Berlin's industrial history for three weeks. Opened on the Day of the Open Monument in September, the program then ran over four weekends at more than 30 partner sites in several districts. City tours with insider access, silent discos in disused industrial buildings, photo walks, and lectures on Berlin's economic history characterized the festival's program.

The organizer remained the Berliner Zentrum Industriekultur (bzi); the festival center was again the Industriesalon Schöneweide on the former AEG site in Niederschöneweide. With the 2025 edition, the festival continued the trend of broad, decentralized programming — and laid the groundwork for the 2026 edition from September 12 to October 4.
