Edition 2025 — Berlin Festival Milonguero
The 2025 Berlin edition of the Festival Milonguero confirmed the format's firm place in the Berlin Tango summer season. Four days of dance festival at Ballhaus Rixdorf, international audience from over twenty countries, full capacity at evening milongas. The formula of seven milongas / seven shows / live orchestra was successfully implemented for the first time in this density in 2025.
The 2025 edition attracted Tango dancers from over 20 countries, with a particularly strong representation from Italy, Turkey, France, Israel, and Argentina. The evening milongas were consistently sold out.
The introduction of the live orchestra Orquesta Sonder Tango as a program highlight on Saturday evening was perceived by the community as a great added value and was continued in 2026.
Berlin thus reaffirmed itself as one of the world's most important Tango festival destinations.
