Overview
In 2025, the Berlin Brass Festival once again brought together the Berlin brass scene under the open sky. Concerts at the Evangelisches Johannesstift Spandau and Kulturbrauerei Hof 1, workshops with Grande Fanfare, Absolute Beginners Brass, and Young Brass Talents. Big Band Kameleon, Brass Band Rückert-Gymnasium, KAMA Orchestra, Krach Boom Brass Band Berlin 3000, and other local ensembles performed on the two main stages. Free admission, showcasing the full breadth of the Berlin brass scene — from school Big Bands to experimental collectives.
The 2025 edition established the double-stage format: opening at the Johannesstift Spandau, closing concert at the Kulturbrauerei Prenzlauer Berg. Workshops for all skill levels involved young and old Berlin brass players. With each edition, the festival solidifies its position on the Berlin summer stage as the premier event dedicated to brass instruments beyond classical concert halls and city festival stages.
