Overview

In the summer of 2025, four concert evenings were on the program for the Berkenthin Summer Concerts, each on Fridays at the festival grounds by the lock: July 4 with Esther Jung and Lukas Kowalski, July 11 with Farhad Heet and Robbie Smith, July 18 with Mission Aura, and July 25 with HIT-SKIP. Start time was 7:30 PM each, with free admission. The season concluded on July 27 with the traditional Harbor Festival around the Salt Barge, featuring an open-air service, sea shanty choir, and live music.

The 2025 season offered four concert evenings at the festival grounds by the Berkenthin lock. The organizer was the Berkenthin Cultural Committee in cooperation with the Foundation Duchy of Lauenburg and the Stecknitz-Region Tourist Service.

Concert Series July 2025

  • Friday, July 4, 2025, 7:30 PM: Esther Jung & Lukas Kowalski
  • Friday, July 11, 2025, 7:30 PM: Farhad Heet & Robbie Smith — Blues-Rock Fusion
  • Friday, July 18, 2025, 7:30 PM: Mission Aura
  • Friday, July 25, 2025, 7:30 PM: HIT-SKIP

As with every edition: Free admission, hat donation for the artists, drinks at cost price. Picnic blankets and folding chairs were brought along. Events were cancelled in case of rain.

The grand finale was on Sunday, July 27, 2025, the Harbor Festival around the Salt Barge starting at 10:00 AM — with an open-air service, dance groups, sea shanty choir, live music, food, drinks, and children's activities right on the canal.
