»Bergen blüht!« combines a classic spring market with the Sunday shopping event organized by Bergen's merchants. The town of Bergen auf Rügen organizes the event in cooperation with the merchants' interest group — a dual structure ensuring that both the town center and Friedensplatz are active on market day.
Program
Artisan stalls offering spring decorations, ceramics, textiles, woodwork, and jewelry line Friedensplatz. For families, the day includes a bouncy castle, carousel, a hip-hop group, a magician performing street magic and balloon art, and various games. The Römstedthaus Museum opens its doors for special guided tours and participates in the artisan program.
