Overview

The Bergedorfer Biertag will take place for the first time in 2026. There was no preceding edition in 2025 — the LOLA Cultural Centre in Lohbrügge has newly conceived the format for 2026. The Bergedorf brewery scene previously had no dedicated event date in the district.

No Bergedorfer Biertag took place in 2025. The format is new for 2026 and is considered a response to the growing microbrewery scene in the Hamburg region. The 4Länder Brauerei, Bill Brew, and It's A Wrap have been present at individual summer festivals and street food markets in previous years, but did not have a joint date in Bergedorf.

The LOLA Cultural Centre in Lohbrügge — a central hub for local culture in southeastern Hamburg for decades — conceived the format and announced its premiere for May 30, 2026. With the Bergedorfer Zeitung as a presenter, the day is firmly anchored in the local media landscape. If the premiere is successful, the format could develop into a regular early summer event in Bergedorf.
