The 50th anniversary Bensheim Civic Festival took place from June 12 to 15, 2025. Four festival days, four stages, around 100,000 visitors – a highlight of Bensheim's festival culture since 1975.
In 2025, the Bensheim Civic Festival celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special edition. From June 12 to 15, the city center transformed into a festival mile with four stages, around 30 associations, and a cultural program specially expanded for the anniversary. The opening featured the traditional keg tapping ceremony and the crowning of the Blossom Queen, the Intercultural Festival, and an open shopping Sunday, forming the familiar dramatic arc, complemented by special exhibitions on the festival's history.
