The Bensberg Spring Festival in 2025 took place as usual on a spring weekend, but without the completed Schlossstraße — the construction work for the urban development funding was still ongoing in April 2025. Booths, live music, and a family program still offered the usual Spring Festival format.

Spring Festival 2025 with Construction Site

The 2025 Spring Festival edition in Bergisch Gladbach-Bensberg proceeded under somewhat challenging conditions: the Schlossstraße was still a construction site as part of the NRW urban development funding. The Bensberg Trade Association (IBH) and XDREAM-Events nevertheless organized the festival on a reduced scale along the accessible areas.

The program included the usual elements: local business booths, food stalls, live music, and a family program. In spring 2026, the completed Schlossstraße was to be ceremonially inaugurated — which explains the special significance of the 2026 edition.
