Overview
In 2025, there was no edition of the Belgershainer Sportfest in its current form yet — however, like every year, SV 1863 Belgershain organized its section tournaments and club festivals. The idea for a joint three-day format grew out of these individual events, which will celebrate its premiere in 2026 as the 1st Belgershainer Sportfest.
In the years before the premiere, the club traditionally organized several smaller sports events throughout the season — including tournaments for individual sections and club evenings at Schloss Belgershain. This experience flowed into the conception of the new sports festival.
The idea of bundling all seven sections under the common motto "My Homeland. My Club." and crowning it with a representative athletes' ball emerged in 2025 and was developed together with the club board.
