Overview

The 2025 Beetle Sunshinetour took place in August in the Brügmanngarten in Lübeck-Travemünde, once again gathering hundreds of VW Beetle and Bus fans from all over Germany and neighboring countries. With its beach promenade, sea of lights, and cruise, the event remained true to its reputation as the world's largest privately organized VW Beetle meeting.

In 2025, the Beetle Sunshinetour once again delivered its characteristic mix of car culture and Baltic Sea atmosphere. The Brügmanngarten in Lübeck-Travemünde served as the venue for hundreds of vehicles — from pre-war models to more recent classics. Exhibitors came from all over the North German region, many also from the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

The atmosphere was shaped by the evening cruises along the promenade and the international Beetle community, which comes together in Travemünde like a big family. The expansion to three full days was subsequently announced for 2026.
