The 50th anniversary edition of the Beelitz Asparagus Festival took place from June 6th to 8th, 2025 — confirming its reputation as Brandenburg's largest folk festival. Over 50,000 visitors flocked to the Stadtpark and the Old Town, and the Sunday parade was one of the largest in recent history. Asparagus dishes in all variations, several stages with Schlager and cover bands, open Old Town courtyards — the Heimatbühne and the City of Beelitz delivered an anniversary weekend that Beelitz residents will remember for a long time.

The anniversary year 2025 — 50 years of the Beelitz Asparagus Festival — offered a packed program. The Stadtpark was already bustling on Friday evening, and on Saturday, Schlager stars and cover bands performed on the three stages, while the courtyards of the Old Town were lively until late at night. Sunday began with the traditional morning pint, followed by the grand parade at 1:30 PM.

The procession was led by the reigning Asparagus Queen, followed by floats from the Beelitz asparagus farms — many lovingly decorated with white spears, green meadows, and creative asparagus figures. Clubs, guards, and marching bands completed the parade. The finale was on Sunday evening with the last major concert on the main stage before the festival officially ended around midnight.
