Overview

The 6th edition of the Bayreuth Lake Stage Festival ran from August 8th to 14th, 2025, in the Wilhelminenaue. Opening night on August 8th with Mando Diao, followed by Gentleman & Milaa (Reggae/Dancehall, Aug 9th), a Classic Rock Night with Manfred Mann's Earth Band and The Sweet (Aug 10th), Haindling (Aug 12th), and an ABBA tribute show with AbbaFever (Aug 13th). In 2025, the festival was the centerpiece of the "Bayreuth Summertime" series.

Lake Stage Festival 2025 in Retrospect

With its sixth edition, the Lake Stage Festival established itself in 2025 as a central event of the Bayreuth summer. Presented by regional partner Markgraf Bau and as part of the Friedrichsforum's "Bayreuth Summertime" series, the festival week brought several thousand visitors per evening to the Wilhelminenaue.

Program Lines 2025

The 2025 program spanned from Swedish Indie Rock (Mando Diao at the opening) to Reggae (Gentleman & Milaa) and Classic Rock (Manfred Mann's Earth Band, The Sweet), to Bavarian Folk Rock (Haindling) and Pop Tributes (AbbaFever). The festival once again demonstrated its programmatic diversity, bridging international mainstream and regional focus.
