Overview

In 2025, the Bayreuth Jazz November once again transformed the Upper Franconian festival city into a meeting point for the jazz scene in autumn. The Jazzforum Bayreuth presented contemporary jazz from international stars to newcomers at special venues in the city area.

The 2025 Bayreuth Jazz November continued the long-standing festival tradition of the Jazzforum Bayreuth e.V., founded in 1982. Traditionally scheduled for the first weekend after the Bavarian autumn holidays, the festival offered a program that combined traditional jazz sounds with contemporary influences. International jazz greats and up-and-coming newcomer bands performed at various special venues in the Bayreuth city area, making the city visible as a music city beyond the Wagner Festival.
