Overview

The Bayreuth Christmas Market 2025 took place from November 24th to December 23rd, 2025, on the Market Square. Around 40 stalls, opened by the Bayreuth Christkind, with a classic Christmas market program of crafts, culinary delights, and a 7 km light installation in the city center. The Winter Village at the old tax office remained open until December 31st, 2025.

The 2025 edition confirmed the market's firm place in the Franconian Advent offerings. Bayreuth Marketing & Tourismus GmbH ensured rich lighting of the city center, the Christkind opened the market and returned several times for stage appearances.

The close connection between the Christmas Market and the Winter Village has established itself as a concept – while the market ends on December 23rd, the Winter Village continues seamlessly until the end of the year.
