Overview

In 2025, Haus Hohenbusch once again transformed into a large farmers' market on the first weekend of October, featuring over 100 exhibitors. Regional specialties, blacksmithing, a sawmill, a tractor show, and a children's program attracted thousands of visitors from Erkelenz, the Heinsberg district, and the nearby Dutch region.

The 26th edition of the Bauernmarkt Haus Hohenbusch in 2025 once again confirmed the event's reputation as one of the largest and most atmospheric harvest markets in western Rhineland. The historic setting of the former Kreuzherrenkloster, the diverse offering of farm products and crafts, and the family-friendly supporting program ensured a successful weekend.

The free shuttle service from Erkelenz town center proved its worth: it significantly eased arrival, and visitors from surrounding communities could also reach the market relaxed. The proceeds go towards the preservation and maintenance of Haus Hohenbusch and support local club activities.
