The 25th edition of the Barther Metal Open Air was held in August 2025 at the Barth open-air stage. Three days of Pagan, Folk, and Black Metal celebrated the festival's quarter-century with an international lineup.
The 25th Barther Metal Open Air took place in August 2025 as a юбилей edition at the Barth open-air stage. Three festival days brought together bands from Germany, Scandinavia, Poland, and Eastern Europe on stage in the Barther Anlagen. The focus was on Pagan Metal, Folk Metal, Viking Metal, and atmospheric Black Metal — the genre mix that has defined the festival since the early 2000s. Camping on-site, regional catering, and the loyal audience from all over Germany once again confirmed the BMOA's special status in the North German metal scene.
