Overview

The Baltic Open Air 2025 took place from August 21st to 23rd in the Viking Land Haddeby near Busdorf. Three days of Rock, Metal, and German Rock attracted several thousand fans from Northern Germany and Scandinavia to the fortress village on the Schlei. The Viking staging with craft demonstrations and the Ferris wheel completed the experience.

The 2025 edition confirmed the Baltic Open Air's reputation as one of Northern Germany's most atmospheric Rock and Metal festivals. For three days, the Viking villages of Haddeby came alive again: blacksmiths worked at the forge, leather artisans displayed their craft, and the stage thundered between the thatched-roof houses.

The festival visit combined live music from the international Rock and Metal scene with historical ambiance and Northern German hospitality – a concept now confirmed in its second decade.
