Overview

The 4th edition of the BALAROCK Festival took place in June 2025, as is traditional, on the Laasphe Schützenplatz. Rockpalast Laasphe e.V. once again succeeded in combining international punk acts with German bands and continuing the DIY open-air tradition of the festival in the Rothaargebirge — an established date in the punk festival summer.

The 4th edition of the BALAROCK Festival in 2025 continued the DIY punk rock tradition of the organizer Rockpalast Laasphe e.V. Around 800 punk fans once again gathered at the Laasphe Schützenplatz for a weekend of international and German punk rock. The festival consistently built upon the identity developed in its first three editions — family-friendly, open-minded, and curated with attention to detail — laying the foundation for the 2026 anniversary edition with the double celebration of the 5th Festival / 20 Years Rockpalast Laasphe e.V.
